Membership

How long will I have access to Mindtools content?

Your membership will run for as long as you would like, and you will only lose access to content when you cancel your membership. You have complete control of your subscription.

How do I upgrade my membership?

Upgrading your membership couldn’t be simpler. Log in to your account and go to Account > Me, and then under Plan, click Update. Pick your upgrade, and we’ll take care of the rest.

How do I update my payment information?

To update your payment information, log in and go to Account > Me, and then under Subscription & Billing, click Update.

Can I suspend my membership if I need to take a break?

Yes, you have complete control of your membership. If you need to suspend your membership for up to three months, simply email Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com and let them know how long you would like it to be suspended for. The suspension will start on your next scheduled payment date, and you will not be charged for the suspension period.

How do I cancel my membership?

Mindtools prides itself on giving customers complete autonomy over their memberships. To cancel your membership, simply log in and go to Account > Me > I want to cancel my subscription. We’ll ask a few questions, and you may be offered a tailored incentive to stay. However, if you would still like to leave then you can proceed with the cancellation process. Once cancelled, you will not be charged again, and you will continue to have access for the duration of the period you have paid for.

If you have any outstanding invoices on your account, these are still owed to Mindtools after you cancel. If you have any concerns about outstanding charges, please get in touch with Mindtools Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com, and they will be happy to help.

Payments and billing

How do I pay for my Mindtools membership?

Mindtools accept a wide range or payment methods. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Union Pay, and PayPal.

I have a valid payment method, but I am unable to sign up.

If you’re having any issues making your purchase, please get in touch with Mindtools Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com, and they will be happy to help you.

Can I pay for my Mindtools membership by invoice?

Mindtools does not currently accept invoices for monthly payments. We can accept invoices for 3-Month, Annual and 3-Year purchases, but this is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Mindtools Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com for more information.

Can I expense my Mindtools membership to my employer?

Most employers are happy to support their employees’ learning and development. Please let us know what company information you require on your receipt, and we’ll be happy to add it for you.

How do I view my receipts?

You can view and download all your receipts by logging in and going to Account > Me > Purchase History.

Newsletter

Can I subscribe to your public newsletter?

Mindtools delivers a free newsletter to anyone who would like to receive it, you just have to sign up!

What will I get from the newsletter?

Each week you’ll receive an email that focuses on one of our Skill Areas. Covering everything from leadership and strategy to creativity and career skills, the newsletter is packed with useful, practical insights.

My newsletter is going to my spam folder. How do I get it into my inbox?

Occasionally, our newsletter may end up in your Spam or Junk folder. To stop this from happening in the future, please add email@support.mindtools.com to your email “whitelist” – your list of approved or “safe” email addresses.

I’ve signed up so why am I not receiving your newsletter?

In this case, please email Mindtools Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com.

How do I stop receiving the Mindtools newsletter?

Every email includes an unsubscribe button at the bottom. Or you can contact Customer Services, and they will be happy to unsubscribe for you.

Mindtools store

What is the Mindtools Store?

A Mindtools membership gives you unlimited access to Mindtools content; however, your account is just for you. So, if you would like to share a specific piece of content or would like to purchase it so that you can keep a copy after you end your membership, head to the Mindtools Store.

I thought a Mindtools membership gave me access to your content?

Your Mindtools membership gives you unlimited access to all our available content. However, not all our resources are permanently available through your subscription. The Store allows you to purchase content that may not be on the website. If a piece of content is currently available with your subscription, we will let you know in the item’s description.

What can I buy in the Mindtools Store?

Within the Mindtools Store, you will find a wide selection of quizzes, workbooks, and much more.

Permissions, reproduction and citation

Can I reproduce Mindtools content?

To use our material for your website, publication or organization, please contact permissions@mindtools.com with the following details of your request. This gives us the information we need to answer your request quickly. We aim to get back to you within five working days and pricing begins at £250.

  • Full name
  • Organization
  • Title and URL of the resource you wish to reproduce
  • Purpose of reproduction
  • Number of copies/ audience size
  • Details of reproduction media (e.g. email newsletter, intranet, public website)

Citation of Mindtools Material

We are pleased for you to refer to Mindtools’ publicly available material and to use single quotations from these of up to 100 words in length. You may do this without any further permission as long as the following points are observed:

  • Unless otherwise stated, MindTools.com should be credited as the author of the material.
  • Mindtools copyright should be acknowledged in any quotation, and a link should be provided to the source article. The copyright message should be quoted as it appears at the bottom of the appropriate page.
  • In some cases, articles may use material copyrighted by another party or may use trade or service marks belonging to another party. Where this is the case, you must seek the permission of the ultimate owner of this intellectual property.
  • Citations should not violate any law, cause offence, or tarnish the Mindtools brand in any way.

We aim to reply within five working days, but we ask for your patience as this can sometimes take longer due to the nature of copyright queries.
