This shortlisting recognizes Mindtools’ impactful collaboration with Heathrow Airport on an inclusive, experiential learning programme, Right Where I Belong. This values-based programme empowers employees to share their experiences and fosters a culture of belonging and diversity.

The Learning Giveback Award celebrates organizations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to enhancing lives and communities through innovative learning. This year, Mindtools stands among the nominees for its work with Heathrow highlighting employee voices and promoting meaningful change in representation at senior levels. The Right Where I Belong programme has exceeded expectations in employee feedback, enhancing perceptions of workplace culture and fostering a stronger sense of inclusivity.

Esther Olorunsomo, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Heathrow commented:

“We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for this award, which recognizes the incredible partnership we’ve built with Mindtools. Their team took the time to understand our unique learning needs and organizational challenges, and the training they delivered was exceptionally well received.

“Learners especially appreciated the interactive elements, such as the reflection spaces and commitment tools. These made the experience engaging, thought provoking and truly impactful. We couldn’t be happier with the results.”

Clare Gibson, Learning Designer at Mindtools, commented:

“Being shortlisted for the Learning Giveback Award is a huge honour. This collaboration with Heathrow has shown that learning can improve how people feel when they show up at work. There are real benefits to making people feel seen, heard, and valued.”

The Learning Awards ceremony, where the winners in this Learning Giveback category will be announced, will take place in London on 13 February 2025
